 November, 2021

Important Notice:  Due to the rising COVID-19 numbers, we sadly announce once more that effective Sunday, January 2, 2022, and until further notice, Asbury and West United Church will be closed to in-person worship.  Services will continue on Zoom every Sunday at 10:30am.

Christmas Eve Service: Friday, December 24 at 7:00pm. Join us for our last in-person service before shut down, or on Zoom.  Masks and proof of vaccination are required to join the Christmas Eve in-person service.

Please be assured we are aware of the COVID-19 issue and are making the best informed decisions for our church.  We are closely following the information from the health experts, plans established by the City of Toronto and the United Church of Canada. The leadership of the church will continue to monitor the situation and make decisions regarding activities at Asbury and West United Church.  You will continue to be kept informed.

Live Zoom services will continue to be made available to those who do not wish to join the service in person. Please have patience with our technical crew as this is new to us and we are working hard to provide the Worship Service to those in the Sanctuary as well as over Zoom.

If you have questions or concerns, or if you have a special need, eg: funeral, please contact the church office 416 783 6503 or Rev. Carol 905 717 6594

At this time, our facilities are unavailable for rental.

Council and Worship ministries will continue to monitor this situation and we always welcome your suggestions.

You are welcome to view our services via our Facebook page, or join us for Zoom Sunday Services at 10:30 am. You don't need a computer to join, just a phone.

For Service login information, please contact the Church Office by email at or by phone at 416 783 6503 or Rev. Carol McKinley at 905 717 6594

We will be celebrating Advent 1, 2, 3 and 4 starting November 28.  White Gift Sunday will be on Advent 3, December 12, 2021, and of course, Christmas Eve Service.
